TRAFIC 2011 WILL BRING TOGETHER THE LATEST NEW FEATURES FROM THE ROAD EQUIPMENT SECTOR

If one aspect characterises the road safety and equipment sector it is its flexibility when it comes to adapting new technologies to this field, effectively incorporating the latest solutions from R&D and innovation into its products. In this respect, TRAFIC, an event organised by IFEMA and promoted by the State Traffic Department (DGT) and the State Roads Department (DGC) and which is due to take place between 27th and 30th September 2011, will provide an ideal setting for the industry to present the latest advances developed by companies and research centres. The frequency of the fair, which is staged every two years, guarantees the presence of various new features that companies reserve for their unveiling at the grand trade showcase known as TRAFIC.

Professionals attending the twelfth edition of TRAFIC, the International Road Safety and Equipment Exhibition, which is due to take place between 27th and 30th September in Madrid, will be able to make the very most of their presence at TRAFIC thanks to the fair's on-line pre-registration facility. This registration facility is already available through the fair's web page, www.trafic.ifema.es. Among other benefits, this tool enables visitors to receive free tickets in advance that provide direct access to TRAFIC.

MOTORTEC AUTOMECHANIKA IBÉRICA TV TO BROADCAST DAY-TO-DAY EVENTS AT THE TRADE FAIR FROM 30 MARCH TO 2 APRIL

Motortec Automechanika Ibérica will broadcast the highlights of every day at the trade fair between 30 March and 2 April on its TV channel Motortec Automechanika Ibérica TV. This initiative will mean that trade professionals will be able to follow the day-to-day happenings at the event on screens installed in halls 4, 6, 8 and 10 at Feria de Madrid. Off-site viewers can also follow the action via internet at www.motortec-automechanika-iberica.com and www.infotaller.tv. Videos of these news reports will also be uploaded to the IFEMA and Infotaller youtube channels, and at Infocap’s eNesletters.

THE COMPETITION HAS BEEN ORGANISED AS PART OF AFTERMARKET WEEK, WHICH IS SPONSORED BY THE TRADE FAIR WITH A VIEW TO EN-COURAGING VISITS TO REPAIR WORKSHOPS TO MANTAIN VEHICLES AND IMPROVE ROAD SAFETY

There are still almost two months to go before Motortec Autome-chanika Ibérica is held from 30 March to 2 April and already more than 410 exhibitors have confirmed they will be taking part, a number which is expected to reach 450 by the time marketing activities finish. The trade fair will take place in five, even-numbered halls at the Feria de Madrid and almost 40,000 trade professionals are expected to attend. Products from the machinery and spare parts; repair and maintenance; accessories and tuning; IT and management, service stations and car wash sectors, among others, will be on show.

Motortec Automechanika Ibérica 2011 is to stage yet another edition of the Innovation Gallery. This is a space set aside to display the most original products presented by companies taking part in the exhibition. The Innovation Gallery will be open throughout the event - from 30 March to 2 April 2001 - at Feria de Madrid.
